Aldi cleans up in Brandspark's new product awards
For the 12th year, BrandSpark International has surveyed more than 11,000 United States consumers to identify best new products, and this year’s winners focus on health and wellness and organic products. Store brand products earned recognition, too. Mainly Aldi, winning for 18 of its products.
Research and consulting firm BrandSpark International, New York, recognized 58 total products in its 2020 Best New Product Awards in the categories of food and beverage; beauty, health and personal care; and household.
The products were launched on Jan. 1. Trader Joe’s won an award in the category of “Fresh Pre-Made Side,” getting recognized for its Trader Joe’s Harvest Grain Salad. After that, it was all Aldi, a dominant winner in the food and beverage category. Aldi especially one with dairy and deli items and with a special callout to its Simply Nature brand. Here’s a list:
