Albertons is adding more than 300 products to its Signature SELECT private label this year.
Boise, Idaho-based Albertsons Companies is ramping up its private label presence by adding more than 300 items to its Signature SELECT store brand line this year.
The company announced that its “redesigned program” products range from its popular Signature Kitchens, Signature Home and Snack Artist brands. Already consisting of more than 2,400 items, the company’s store brand revamp will include an upgrade to its trademark tag logo that will remain consistent on products throughout the store but allow flexibility with the different packaging.
“Our Signature family of brands aren’t like your parents’ store brands anymore,” said Geoff White, president of Albertsons Companies Own Brands. “We are laser-focused on innovation and staying at the forefront of culinary trends. Customers should expect to see trends first at our stores. With the expansion of Signature SELECT, customers will find even more surprises, from seasonal and holiday items to ethnic and even plant-based offerings.”
In April, Albertsons Companies said it achieved sales penetration of 25.2 percent for its Own Brands in the fourth quarter.
