Albertsons Companies Re-Launches Soleil Packaging with New Artwork

Albertsons Companies' private sparkling water brand has received a facelift heading into summer.

Albertsons Companies has announced the packaging refresh of Soleil, the company’s private brand of sparkling water. The eight-can packaging of the beverage has been updated to include colorful, eye-catching artwork.

Now available at Safeway, Jewel-Osco, Vons and other Albertsons banner stores, Soleil is supported by the “That’s a Soleil Vibe” marketing campaign. To celebrate the re-launch, the private brand partnered with Los Angeles-based creative agency Library Collection to gain participation from several TikTok creators, who used Soleil’s original TikTok sound, “One I Need,” created by SNGL featuring 11:11, to create videos promoting the product.

“Since its introduction in 2016, Soleil has been a brand with a big, bright personality. We’re excited to enhance that with a new look that represents Soleil’s positive, carefree and creative identity,” shared Chad Coester, Senior Vice President of Own Brands. “This refresh includes colorful packaging reminiscent of the crisp, fruity taste to delightful effervescent sounds that crack when you open the can. We invite our shoppers to live on the sunny side of life and embrace the Soleil Vibes this summer.”

In addition to new artwork, the Soleil packaging also allows customers to embrace the “Soleil Vibes” for themselves. The new packaging will also feature a scannable QR code leading straight to Soleil’s curated Good Vibes playlist on Spotify. This “Sip to the Beat” campaign earned honors from Store Brands last year as a Creative Campaigns 2021 winner.

Albertsons Companies operates 2,276 retail stores with 1,722 pharmacies, 402 associated fuel centers, 22 dedicated distribution centers and 20 manufacturing facilities across 34 states.
