Ahold USA stores debut private brand espresso capsules

Ahold USA divisions Stop & Shop, Giant Landover and Giant/Martin’s are the first U.S. supermarkets to carry private brand Nespresso Machine-compatible espresso capsules, according to the company. The 10-count item, which debuted this month, retails for $5.99 or 59 cents per cup, a Stop & Shop spokeswoman told Store Brands sister publication Progressive Grocer.
