Agritalia honored by Whole Foods for 3rd time

The private brand supplier of products from Italy won a Supplier of the Year award for its assortment of products it supplies to Whole Foods.

A leading private brand producer of Italian products exported to North America, Agritalia, has been recognized as a Supplier of the Year by Whole Foods Market, winning for the third time, earning a special recognition award for using its expertise to provide more than 100 certified suppliers across Italy and the European Union.

Whole Foods recognized Agritalia for its ability to find products that consistently meet the rigorous quality standards required by Whole Foods Market, saying they “go above and beyond in helping Whole Foods Market grow and drive business as well as inspire and delight customers.” 

Agritalia previously won the award for its services in 2011 and 2019.

The retailer’s ninth annual Supplier Awards recognize national, regional and local branded partners across several categories, awarding 42 companies in all. Here is a list of the winners.

Agritalia, in partnership with Agrilogistica, also runs a new state-of-the-art logistics platform strategically located near the main ports of Naples and Salerno (southern Italy) which employs the latest technology to optimize distribution allowing the company to deliver the goods on time, avoiding any risk of out-of-stock or over-stock while minimizing the impact of the food supply chain on the environment.
