Adorable alert: Girl has Aldi-themed birthday party
Who needs Chuck E. Cheese when you have Aldi?
According to a cute article in the publication Insider, a little girl in South Carolina requested an Aldi-themed birthday party for her fourth birthday — and wow did mom deliver.
Perhaps mom and daughter have a future in becoming Aldi influencers (Store Brands previously blogged about influencers such as the Aldi Nerd) as the two clearly share a passion for the retailer.
Meaghan Singleton and her daughter Saylor of Sumter, S.C., apparently love the discount grocer and its own brands, having shopped there for years as it’s been near the military family’s recent stations, the article said.
When little Saylor said she wanted an Aldi-themed party, Meaghan went to work turning the house into a customized Aldi, including parody signage and cookies styled like quarters in reference to the 25-cents needed to get a shopping cart.
The girl also had a stylized photo shoot inside an Aldi store where she wore a dress with an Aldi patch on it.
You can see all of the photos and read more on the family and preparation for the party in Insider and the blog Scary Mommy.
