AAK USA hires new manager of personal care team

AAK USA, a manufacturer of specialty vegetable fats and oils, including for private brands and foodservice companies, has named Vito Cataldo as its senior manager, personal care team, which works with sustainable emollients for use in health and beauty and personal care items.

The position is based in the company’s Edison, N.J., headquarters, where Cataldo will be in charge of managing the personal care go to market team, looking at short- and long-term goals of the AAK’s personal care customer partners in the United States and in Canada.

Cataldo recently worked in the personal care space with both DSM Nutritional Products and Lonza Inc. In total, he has more than 20 years of experience in the personal care segment.

In personal care, AAK supplies sustainable, botanically derived emollients for use in skin care, hair care, color cosmetics and other personal care products.
