7-Eleven is welcoming spring with new 7-Select cookies, snacks and candies for the Easter basket and a unique latte flavor based on the PEEPS Marshmallow candy.
Through April 27, purchases of the limited-time, marshmallow-flavored latte can be rounded up at the register to help donate to local Feeding America food banks. Shoppers round up by scanning their 7Rewards barcode or when buying through the 7NOW delivery app. With the round up, they automatically get entered for a chance at weekly prizes.
The 7-Select private label additions for spring include a range of sweet treats to pair with the marshmallow-flavored latte. Items include giant frosted shortbread cookies that come in shapes like yellow bumble bees or pink and orange butterflies.
There are also butterfly-shaped and flower-shaped gummy candies under the 7-Select name, pretzels covered in a strawberry-flavored yogurt coating, and the 7-Select sandwich crème cookies available year-round get a spring twist in flavors like carrot cake, pineapple upside down cake and banana cream pie.
The PEEPS marshmallow candies in chicks and bunnies shapes have been around since 1953, from candymaker Just Born Quality Confections. 7-Eleven often creates tie ins with popular candy brands.
“Like 7-Eleven, PEEPS Brand Marshmallow Candies are a family favorite with lots of fans, and it's a fun flavor addition to our latte and cappuccino selection," said Jawad Bisbis, vice president of Proprietary Beverages. "We are always looking for new and unexpected flavors for all of our proprietary beverages — hot, cold and frozen. I hope loyal PEEPS enthusiasts will come give our limited-edition latte a try."
