7-Eleven has added to its foodservice innovation with a unique breakfast pizza that will be served all day.

The personal-sized pizza features a biscuit crust, white gravy sauce, scrambled eggs, sausage crumbles, bacon, ham, and a mix of mozzarella and cheddar cheeses. Served hot and ready to go, the pizza goes for $2. The meal addition is bolstering 7-Eleven’s focus on feeding consumers on the go, and the company said it pairs well with its 7-Select cold-pressed juices, which have become a top-seller at the convenience store.

"7-Eleven stores' busiest time of day is right in the heart of traditional breakfast hours, and people are hungry," said Robin Murphy, 7-Eleven fresh foods product director. "We took our busiest time of day and (one of) our customers' favorite hot foods — pizza — to create what we think will become a breakfast favorite that is delicious and easy to eat on the go."

According to the retailer, the breakfast pizza is one of the only personal breakfast pizzas on the market.

7-Eleven, based in Irving, Texas, operates, franchises and/or licenses more than 69,000 stores in 17 countries, including 11,800 in North America. Private brands have become an increased focus for the retailer, rostering more than 1,500 items under its 7-Select food and beverages line, and its newly launched 24/7 non-food, OTC and electronics accessories line.
