Whole Foods sued for understating yogurts sugar content
Customers are suing Whole Foods Market, Austin, Texas, for “vastly understating” sugar content in its 365 Everyday Value Plain Greek yogurt, according to a story on the New York Post’s website. The class-action lawsuit notes that although labeling says the yogurt contains 2 grams of sugar per 170-gram serving, a July Consumer Reports report claims the yogurt actually contains 11.4 grams of sugar per serving.
