Austin, Texas-based Whole Foods Market said it added New Barn Almondmilk, Wholesome! Biodynamic Cane Sugar and Honest Tea’s Honest Organic Watermelon Lemonade to its exclusive product offerings.
New Barn Almondmilk is an organic almond milk made with six or fewer simple ingredients. It is available in the refrigerated dairy sections at 56 Whole Foods Market stores in Southern California, Arizona, Southern Nevada and Hawaii. New Barn Almondmilk comes in three flavors and in a recyclable PET 28-fluid-ounce bottle, Whole Foods said.
Wholesome! Biodynamic Cane Sugar, said to be the first biodynamic sugar on the market, is an unrefined alternative to refined white sugar. Biodynamic cane sugar is made from freshly squeezed biodynamic cane juice from Paraguay. The sugar is certified fair trade, USDA organic and is Non-GMO-Project Verified, the retailer said.
Honest Tea’s Honest Organic Watermelon Lemonade is a summer exclusive at Whole Foods Market. The lemonade is said to be lightly sweetened with organic fair trade cane sugar from Paraguay and contains 70 calories per serving. Purchases of the limited-edition lemonade will benefit Paraguayan farmers by helping support community development programs, Whole Foods said.
