Weis Markets names Kevin Broe vp, center store sales and merchandising

Weis Markets, Sunbury, Pa., said it named Kevin E. Broe vice president of center store sales and merchandising. He will oversee the retailer’s grocery, dairy, frozen, health and beauty care, and general merchandise departments — as well as store brands, pricing and shelf management.

Broe previously served as vice president of center store merchandising for the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co., Montvale, N.J. He will report to Kurt Schertle, executive vice president, sales and merchandising, Weis said.
