Wegmans recalls store brand bread products

Rochester, N.Y.-based Wegmans Food Markets said it issued a voluntary recall of various store brand bread products because an ingredient — flour produced and supplied by Dakota Specialty Milling, Fargo, N.D. — might contain thin pieces of wire mesh.

According to Wegmans, the recalled products include Wegmans Food You Feel Good About 100% Whole Wheat Pita Bread (14-ounce), Wegmans Food You Feel Good About Wheat Hot Dog Rolls (14-ounce), Wegmans Food You Feel Good About Wheat Hamburger Rolls (14-ounce), Wegmans Food You Feel Good About 100% Whole Wheat Mini Pita Bread (12-ounce), Wegmans Food You Feel Good About Whole Grain Bread (24-ounce), Wegmans Food You Feel Good About Whole Wheat Bread (24-ounce), Wegmans Multigrain Whole Wheat Thin Sandwich Rolls (12-ounce), Wegmans Food You Feel Good About Mini Multigrain Pita Bread (11-ounce) and Wegmans Good You Feel Good About Honey Apple Oat Bread (24-ounce). The products were sold between Feb. 1 and 15.
