Walmart's Top-Rated by Kids Toy List is back

Walmart has released its 8th annual Top-Rate by Kids Toy List ahead of the fast-approaching holiday season. The list is made up of 39 toys selected by children themselves, and includes 16 Walmart exclusive items, more than any prior year. Toy themes include outdoor fun, learning-based games, along with classic toys and games. To gear up for the holiday rush, Walmart recently announced it would be hiring 20,000 supply chain workers nationwide.

“Our customers know Walmart is the No. 1 toy destination with the best selection of the most popular toys, all at Walmart’s incredibly low prices,” said Steve Ronchetto, vice president of toys at Walmart U.S. “This year, we’re proud to help customers plan ahead and shop the most sought-after toys now with our Top-Rated by Kids Toy List as their guide. And, with an expanded toy assortment that’s bigger than ever, customers will be able to find gifts for every child on their list at Walmart.”

In the “Awakening Imagination” category, Walmart exclusives include the 1:10 RC Hot Wheels Rhimomite toy car, and the Barbie Extra Doll & Vanity Playset. The Walmart exclusive in the “Edutainment Expression” category is the Crayola Creative Fun Double Easel set, allowing kids to create their own works of art.

The “Fresh Air Fun” category of toys is centered around toys that get kids outdoors, and is made up of seven exclusive toys. They include 12V Jeep Gladiator Children’s Ride On, the Fisher-Price Bouncesational Bounce House with Built-in Pump , the HALO Supreme Big Wheel Scooter, the Jetson Hali X Luminous Extreme-Terrain Hoverboard, the Kryptonics 28” Cruiser Skateboard i, the Monster Jam 24V Grave Digger Ride On, and the Razor Miniature Dirt Rocket MX125 Electric-Powered Dirt Bike.
