United Supermarkets holds March Madness store brand snack contest

In Facebook posts, the Lubbock, Texas-based United Supermarkets LLC arm of Boise, Idaho-headquartered Albertsons LLC (the Albertsons Market, United Supermarkets and Market Street banners) announced the "March Madness Bite Bracket Chompionship." Fans could register online at bitebracket.com between March 16 and 20; they then may follow the Bite Bracket on Facebook and vote for their favorite store brand snack in each bracket through April 4. One winner among the entrants will be chosen at random on April 4 to be awarded a $200 grocery gift card that may be used at any of the United Family stores.
