TreeHouse Foods soon will be looking for a new COO. The Oak Brook, Ill.-based company announced this week that senior vice president and COO Shay Braun would be leaving his position effective April 30. Craig McCutcheon, currently senior vice president of operations, will be taking over COO duties on an interim basis.

McCutcheon has been with Treehouse since 2018 and in his current position, oversees the company’s manufacturing and warehouse operations. In his interim role, he will add supply chain and food safety responsibilities to his duties and report directly to president and CEO Steve Oakland.

TreeHouse said it would retain an outside firm to help find a permanent replacement for Braun.

"I want to thank Shay for his many contributions to TreeHouse as we have worked to successfully transform our business over the last several years," said Oakland. "We are fortunate to have a deep and talented team, and I am confident that under the leadership of Craig and the rest of our management team, we will continue to successfully implement our plans to drive growth and value as we seamlessly navigate this transition."
