Trace One Names Michael Bromme Senior VP to Further Drive U.S. Market Growth

Boston – Trace One, a global leader in private label, product lifecycle management (PLM) solutions for retailers, manufacturers and suppliers, today announced that Michael Bromme has joined its executive team to further the company’s growth in the United States.

Bromme will leverage his significant retail, grocery, and consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry experience with SaaS-based companies such as DemandTec (IBM) and HarvestMark to serve as Trace One’s senior vice president.

“According to Deloitte, the private label industry is a $1 trillion global market and it is growing rapidly in the States. US consumers want safe, reliable and value-driven private-label goods. Our solutions ensure that retailers and manufacturers, and all of the stakeholders in between, can collaborate quickly and effectively to deliver on these growing private label demands,” said Jerome Malavoy, founder and CEO of Trace One. “With Michael’s tenure in the retail and consumer goods software industries, his work in private label traceability, and his history with fast-growing companies, he’ll be positioned to aggressively drive Trace One’s North American sales and marketing initiatives. We’re very pleased to welcome him to Trace One.”

Bromme’s hire is the latest move in Trace One’s impressive reach into the North American private label PLM market, which began with the company’s acquisition of Agentrics PLM in January 2012 and the relocation of Trace One’s headquarters from Paris to Boston in September of 2012. Trace One works with more than 18,500 manufacturers worldwide and 37 of the top, global retailers – including leading US brands such as Walgreens and Safeway – to facilitate SaaS-based PLM collaboration resulting in the efficient delivery of high-quality and safe, private-label products.

“Trace One’s platform has set the bar for cloud-based, private-label PLM collaboration standards. For the past decade, I observed their impressive growth in Europe and Asia from the sidelines, and I’m thrilled to be a part of their expansion in the US today,” said Bromme.
