Tops To Remodel Two New York Stores

The grocer will spend $4.4 million on upgrades to locations in the communities of Fayetteville and Manlius

Top is spending more than $4 million to upgrade two New York stores.

Tops Friendly Markets is investing $4.4 million to remodel two stores in upstate New York in the communities of Fayetteville and Manlius. 

Company officials said the remodels are scheduled for completion by late summer to early fall, with the stores, both located to the east of Syracuse, receiving significant upgrades:

  • Fayetteville, NY, located at 350 Towne Dr., is a 62,000 sq. ft. store undergoing a $2.25 million renovation.
  • Manlius, NY, located at 119 West Seneca St., is a 41,000 sq. ft. store with a $2.15 million investment.

Highlights of the remodels include:

  • Fresh, modern enhanced interior décor and paint to elevate the overall shopping atmosphere
  • All-new flooring throughout the stores
  • Installation of new user-friendly self-checkouts for added convenience
  • Renovated restrooms for a more comfortable customer experience
  • Upgraded LED lighting to enhance energy efficiency and visibility
  • Expanded Deli and Carry Out Café featuring Boar’s Head, fresh sushi, a Marketplace Deli, and convenient Meals to Go
  • A refreshed Bakery department with expanded frozen selections, new cake and donut fixtures, and a new bread wall
  • A dedicated Healthy Hydration set
  • New shopping carts
  • New Health and Natural Organics offerings
