Topco has updated the packaging design of its Food Club own brand.

Topco’s Food Club brand will donate 5 million meals in the coming year as part of its partnership with Feeding America, whose network consists of food banks, pantries, and meal programs across the U.S.

“We’ve redefined Food Club, a brand that has existed for almost 80 years that still delivers value and quality, but now also offers a purpose-led vision,” said Steve Smith, President & CEO of K VA-T Food Stores, a retail member of Topco. “We know many of our shoppers are thoughtful about how purchases have an impact beyond the transaction. Food Club is making the simple choice of buying the foods  our shoppers love an act of giving.”

“Ending hunger is a mission that requires strong collaboration, which is why we’re grateful for partners like the Food Club brand that are helping us ensure everyone has access to the food and resources they need to thrive,” said Lauren Biedron, Feeding America’s senior vice president of Corporate Partnerships

As consumers shop at Topco-member retailers, they will find new Food Club brand packaging designs in stores throughout September. The month also marks Hunger Action Month, a nationwide effort to raise awareness about hunger in America.
