Target Expands Baby & Toddler Assortment

The retailer is adding 2,000 new items across multiple categories

More than half of the new baby and toddler products are Target exclusives.

Target is giving its baby and toddler assortment a major overhaul with the launch of 2,000 new items across nursery, apparel, food, and toys with more than half the products exclusive to the retailer.

Target said the new assortment offers prices starting at less than $1, with two-thirds of the new arrivals priced at less than $30.

“One-fourth of our guests are shopping for baby, and we’re curating our assortment to give them just what they need,” said Amanda Nusz, senior vice president for Merch Essentials and Beauty at Target. “From daily must-haves like diapers to trending items like baby skincare and adorable, affordable gifts to celebrate each baby milestone, we’re supporting families throughout the parenting journey with products that bring joy and convenience to their everyday lives.”

Included in the new baby and toddler assortment is an expanded gift selection under the Cloud Island brand that includes matching apparel sets, a diaper backpack, toys, plush items, and books. 

Also new are 14 baby food and snack items from Good & Gather in flavors such as raspberry purple sweet potato and tomato mixed berry, and 18 new items from up&up including baby sunscreen and more nursery essentials.

In addition to the new assortment, Target’s baby registry is offering shoppers a free welcome kit with more than $100 shipped home, a 15% off coupon, free returns for all items on a registry for up to one year, and a monthly newsletter with updates on products and gift-tracking information.
