Target Expanding Good & Gather Collabs Line
Target is expanding its Good & Gather Collabs assortment with the launch of a new product line featuring James Beard Award-winning Pitmaster Rodney Scott.
The Good & Gather Collabs + Rodney Scott assortment will include Carolina-style appetizers, snacks, and sauces. For a limited time only, items start at $2.99, and most products in the new assortment will be priced at less than $4. The new line will be available in stores beginning June 1.
Product from Scott, who grew up in South Carolina and is known for his whole-hog barbecue style, will be offered under Target’s proprietary Good & Gather brand, which today includes more than 2,500 items. All items sold under the retailer’s private brand are made without artificial flavors, synthetic colors, artificial sweeteners, and high fructose corn syrup.
“Good & Gather helped transform Target from a retailer that sells food into one that celebrates food, and Good & Gather Collabs are helping us take that to the next level,” says Lisa Roath, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer of food, essentials and beauty, Target. “I can’t wait for consumers to try the best of Carolina BBQ with Pitmaster Rodney Scott. The innovative flavors, wholesome ingredients and great prices will help home chefs everywhere deliver on Rodney’s motto: ‘Every day is a good day.’”
