Target adds exclusive line from Garden of Life

Vitamin maker Garden of Life is brining a new line of products exclusively to Target stores and the retailer's website.

The company's new Dr. Formulated line, which has been formulated by physicians, includes products for both adults and children that support immune health and rest during the sleep cycle, the Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.-based company said.

“We have all endured an unprecedented time over this last year, and now we are entering cough, cold and flu season. Everyone is paying closer attention to immune health these days than any other time that I can remember,” Garden of Life president Brian Ray said. “But at Garden of Life, our mission has always been to empower extraordinary healthMaking clean, traceable and innovative supplements to support digestive and immune system health is our priority.”

Supplements shoppers will be able to find at Target include:

  • Dr. Formulated Elderberry Immune Gummies for Adults and for Kids, which aim to support immune health via two ingredients — elderberry and echinacea;
  • Dr. Formulated Sleep Gummies for Adults and for Kids, which look to foster rest during the sleep cycle through the use of such sleep herbs as chamomile, valerian, lemon balm and L-theanine;
  • Dr. Formulated Prenatal Multi + DHA, which delivers all the essential vitamins expectant mothers are required to have in order to support baby’s neural tube development, as well as 400 mg of essential omega-3 DHA.

Each of the brand’s new launches is Non-GMO Project Verified, NSF Gluten Free Certified and sustainably sourced, the company said.
