SymphonyIRI Group rebrands as IRI
SymphonyIRI Group Inc., Chicago, announced that it is rebranding as IRI, its founding name. Andrew Appel, IRI’s president and CEO, made the announcement on the opening day of the company’s 2013 Summit, held at the Wynn Las Vegas. This year’s conference theme, “Activate Your Growth Engine,” reflects the evolution of the company’s direction.
“Since joining the company, I’ve spent time with more than 500 CPG and retail executives, discussing how we can help move their companies forward,” Appel said. “Focusing on activating and accelerating growth across sales and marketing is the theme I heard repeatedly.”
The embrace of the IRI brand is underscored by a business strategy and mission to deliver growth for clients across the globe by pinpointing what matters and illuminating how it can impact their businesses, IRI said. The company’s “Growth Delivered” business strategy concentrated on six integrated disciplines: robust operating performance, forward-looking insights, revenue growth acceleration, authority on big data, people and client development, and global expansion.
