Strategic cross-merchandising gaining ground as private brand marketing tool

In Store Brands' 2016 State of the Industry Study, retailer and wholesaler respondents indicated that strategic cross-merchandising has become much more important as an own-brand marketing vehicle than it was in 2015. But they still deem in-store signage and displays most important, as they did in the 2015 study.
