Steve Martin is new Chief Creative Officer of Marketing by Design
With immediate effect, Steve Martin, a 25 year design industry innovator, will join Marketing by Design (mbd) as the new Chief Creative Officer. Steve joins Maria Dubuc and Richard Taylor on the Executive Board, and will be responsible for the day to day running and creative direction of the business.
A graduate of The Art Institute of Boston, Steve began his career as an illustrator and designer working with agencies and retailers before joining the creative team of mbd in the mid 90s. While with mbd he was targeted by then client Hasbro Interactive to become their Creative Director. During Steve's tenure at Hasbro Interactive and their rebranding into Infogrames and then Atari, his creative team grew from 4 to 22 members, developing advertising, packaging, point-of-sale and interactive marketing materials for hundreds of products annually.
In 2005, Steve joined One to One Interactive as VP of Creative Services. At One to One, Steve’s team developed digital marketing programs for Fortune 1000 companies encompassing site design, display and search advertising, email marketing programs and social media strategies.
