U.S. office retailer Staples is releasing a new assortment of products designed for the hybrid worker. The collection, which includes three items exclusive to Staples, is part of the chain’s evolution to Staples Connect, a more tech-based storefront which includes own brands, coming as a result of more Americans working from home.

“Since many people plan to work in a remote or hybrid environment moving forward, Staples Connect sought out the latest products to keep our customers productive, connected and engaged, no matter their location,” said Marshall Warkentin, chief marketing and merchandising officer for Staples US Retail. “In a survey, our customers shared that modern technology and office essentials, like comfortable, dynamic chairs and mobile workstations topped the ‘must-have’ list for increasing the productivity of remote work. Other products were added to our assortment with the intention of helping small businesses thrive from any location, often in new, unexpected ways.”

The new line of products includes nine new items, three for each category: Work from Anywhere, Home Office Spaces, and Help Small Businesses and Side Hustlers Grow. Of the nine, three are exclusive to Staples Connect: the Beautyrest DuoEX Chair, the Console Gaming Standing Desk, and the Portable Glass Board Note Pad, which the retailer is the first to market.

“With the vast majority operating as home or mobile-based, these small businesses are also seeking new, creative ways to evolve with the hybrid future of work,” said Staples Connect.
