Sprouts adds exclusive flavor of plant-based chicken product

A new flavor of CHKN Not Chicken plant-based meat is only available at Sprouts Farmers Market. 

Available online and at some smaller retailers, CHKN Not Chicken is now available at all Sprouts locations nationwide with four flavors, one of which being exclusive to the health-focused chain. The four flavors include Naked CHKN (original), Zen CHKN (Asian spices and ginger), Fiesta CHKN (Mexican spices and citrus), and BBQ CHKN (sweet and savory barbecue), which is only available at Sprouts. The exclusive flavor adds to Sprouts’ growing selection of exclusive and own brand products.

CHKN Not Chicken is made of a pea protein base,  and is gluten-free, soy-free, and non-GMO with 20 grams of protein per serving. CHKN Not Chicken comes in an 8 oz. pouch of shredded plant-based meat ready to cook and use in all your favorite recipes at a suggested retail of $7.99.

CHKN Not Chicken was recently named best Plant-Based start up at the 2021 World Plant Based Awards held by FoodBev Media in collaboration with Plant Based World Conference & Expo which evaluated 110 brands from 25 countries.
