'Sprouted' granola bars
Available for private branding, Soul Sprout ‘Bring on the Blueberry’ granola bars and other clean label snack products made by Longmont, Colo.-based Two Moms in the Raw feature “sprouted” ingredients, a process that “unlocks way more nutrients, making it a live food,” according to the manufacturer. The company contends that there is a higher concentration of enzymes in sprouted foods, which equates to better digestion and sustained energy. “Protein becomes more bioavailable during the sprouting process, resulting in extra fuel during your workout,” states the product packaging. The granola bars shown contain chia seeds (which have abundant fiber, antioxidants, protein and omega-3 fatty acids) as well as blueberries. The company also makes nut bars, truffles, crackers and cereal.
