SpartanNash to become primary wholesaler to Gordy’s Market

Grand Rapids, Mich.-based SpartanNash, a wholesaler and retail operator, said it signed a long-term contract to be the primary wholesaler to Gordy’s Market, the largest locally owned and operated grocer in the Western Wisconsin area. In addition to national brand products, SpartanNash will supply Gordy's private label needs with brands such as Our Family, Top Care, Value Time and Full Circle.

SpartanNash said it will begin distributing private brand product to Gordy’s in mid-February and will be Gordy’s primary distributor by May 2016. Gordy’s will be serviced out of SpartanNash’s St. Cloud, Minnesota distribution center.
