Sokol Custom Food Ingredients hires new sales director

Sokol Custom Food Ingredients, an ingredient company that works with private label foodservice retailers, has announced a new leadership hire. Michael Pastorello will join Sokol as the company’s new sales director.

Sokol, a family-owned company of 125 years, specializes in sauces and packaging solutions, including custom pouching capabilities for private label products that the company launched last year.

Pastorello joins Sokol from sales at Sysco Foodservices, an organization he served for over 15 years. His experience also includes work with Weber Grill Restaurant and Pizza Capri. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in integrated marketing from DePaul University in Chicago, Ill.
