Smile Beverage Werks, Pod Pack Agree to Manufacturing Deal

Smile Beverage Werks PBC has announced a material sales agreement with coffee company Pod Pack International to produce Smile's commercially compostable, plant-based and carbon-neutral coffee pods. 

Compatible with Keurig brewers, the new products will offer sustainable options to private label clients. Pod Pack is capable of producing 420 coffee pods per minute with an in-line ultrasonic sealing process using a bespoke machine from IMA Coffee.

Smile's plant-based pods are certified Carbon Neutral, USDA Biobased, Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI) Commercially Compostable and Compost Manufacturing Alliance (CMA) Composter Approved.
