ShopRite is expanding its Wholesome Pantry line of organic and better-for-you products as part of its continuing mission to provide customers with a larger variety of organic and better-for-you products at affordable prices, the retailer said in a press release.
Since launching in December 2016, the company has introduced over 210 products as part of its Wholesome Pantry store brand line. The company reports that the popular new line has been one of the fastest-growing private brand lines launched in the supermarket’s 70-year history.
The Wholesome Pantry line consists of both USDA-certified organic items, as well as free-from products made with simple, clean ingredients without artificial additives, flavors, colors and preservatives. New additions to the line in the next few months will include additional organic snack options such as cookies, trail mixes, single-serve snacks, organic honey, organic juices and organic fruit preserves.
“We’re excited about the expansion of our Wholesome Pantry line, as it demonstrates our unwavering commitment to helping customers find better-for-you products that fit their budgets and their lifestyles,” said Natalie Menza-Crowe, director of Health and Wellness at Keasbey, N.J.-based ShopRite. “When it comes to their personal health and wellness goals, we want our shoppers to feel empowered, inspired and excited about the large array of healthy options that are on the shelves and available to them.”
“With a continued focus on value, convenience and variety, we look forward to providing our customers with even more innovative, high-quality Wholesome Pantry products in the weeks and months ahead,” said Loren Weinstein, director of private label/branding at ShopRite.
