Save A Lot's MacClenny, Fla., store.
Save A Lot has completed renovations of two stores in Northern Florida as the grocer continues to modernize its locations with new decor, enhanced lighting and updated signage.
The most recent remodels are seen at stores in the community of MacClenny at 816 6th St., and in Cross City at 16702 SE Hwy 19.
To celebrate the MacClenny location’s grand re-opening, the store is hosting a cookout where all proceeds will be donated to a local youth group. Representatives from Sunset Farms Foods and Blue Bell Ice Cream will also be handing out free samples and the store will also be giving away Save A Lot gift cards and other items.
The celebration in Cross City will also include a cookout with proceeds going to a local youth group. Representatives from Nettle’s Sausage Company and Blue Bell Ice Cream will also be handing out free samples. The store will also be giving away Save A Lot gift cards and select items.
Both locations are owned and operated by the Boris family.
“Our family is thrilled to bring much-needed upgrades to the MacClenny and Cross City Save A Lot stores and enhance local residents’ shopping experiences the moment they step foot inside,” said Mike Boris. “The newly minted stores provide a modern aesthetic and an easier-to-shop footprint, making it seamless and more enjoyable for customers to shop for grocery essentials and quality fresh meat and produce they’ve come to expect.”
”We’re delighted that the MacClenny and Cross City Save A Lot stores are continuing to provide customers with top-notch service and an upgraded shopping experience with the remodel,” said Mark Kotcher, senior vice president of Sales and Marketing at Save A Lot. “Mike, Mark and Josh Boris’ investment to upgrade the store will have a profound impact on how customers enjoy the Save A Lot experience while continuing to provide unmatched value and quality.”
The remodel is part of the brand’s efforts to modernize its stores across the country and the re-design reflects Save A Lot’s continued mission and commitment to its local communities, providing value, quality products and neighborhood support. As part of the new initiative, the company is working with its independent license owners to remodel stores. The new store design features a contemporary evolution of the brand inspired by customer and employee feedback and each neighborhood store will feature a strong assortment of regional products to better serve customers in meaningful ways.
