Sam's Club Summer Promo Overlaps Amazon's Prime Day

Sam's Club is kicking off the official start of summer by locking in "value" on more than 1,000 products, with the promotion running through July 22.

More than 1,000 products are included, ranging from items for grilling, coolers, pool floats, and fresh-cut fruit trays.

"This is what we do at Sam's Club, every day, every hour, every minute," said Diana Marshall, executive vice president and chief experience officer at Sam's Club. "We create effortless, personal experiences and deliver unmatched value, helping our members focus on what matters most."

Coincidentally, the Sam's Club announcement highlighting its summer promotion running from mid-June through July was made the same day Amazon announced dates for its summer Prime Day event, which will run from July 8-11. This is the first time the sale event has run for four days.

Sam's Club's summer promotions won't end on July 22, with the warehouse club launching its July Instant Savings Event on July 23. This promotion will offer deals on various summer items, along with products for back-to-school.
