Pittsburgh, Penn.-based Riverbend Foods is shuttering its North Side factory by July 31.

According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the plant produces private label soups, baby food and other items for grocery stores including Walmart, Kroger and O’Hara-based Giant Eagle.

Though the H.J. Heinz Co. hasn’t operated the facility for nearly two decades, it had remained a landmark along the Allegheny River that’s still known around Pittsburgh as the Heinz plant, according to the article.

The shuttering of the plant will result in the release of 400 workers.
