Reser’s Fine Foods is launching a giveaway that will give as many as four winners free groceries for a year. The company said it’s a way for it to help shoppers tackle grocery bills during a pandemic that is leading to projections of high rates of food insecurity.

“Many Americans are struggling during this time and we want to help put dinner on the table,” said Teresa Carter, marketing director for deli at Reser’s. “Reser’s is proud to make affordable deli salads, sides and prepared foods, and we want to make it easier for families to enjoy meals together during this challenging time.”

The company’s giveaway will award two grand prize winners weekly $150 gift cards to the grocery store of their choice for a full year. The winners also will be able to “pay it forward,” choosing a friend, family member or charitable organization to also receive a year’s worth of free groceries. “Not only does the consumer win, they can feel good about choosing a friend or organization in need for a second grand prize,” Carter said.

In addition to the grand prize winners, 50 first-place winners will receive a $100 gift card to the grocery store of their choice.

Customers can enter the contest at Resers.com/groceries. It is open through Oct. 4.
