Raley's teams with Instacart

9/5/2019

Raley’s is the latest grocer to team with Instacart. The West Sacramento, Calif.-based retailer began home offering home delivery through the e-commerce grocery delivery company earlier this week.

Raley’s had been offering pickup and delivery through its own online platform, eCart, since 2017. But the retailer said the new partnership with Instacart allows the family-owned grocer to bring more offerings to even more customers.

“The demand from customers for delivery service has continued to steadily grow, and this partnership with Instacart will expand our services to reach more customers,” said Deirdre Zimmermann, Raley’s chief customer experience officer.

Instacart’s network of shoppers will pick, pack and deliver the items on a customer’s grocery list in as fast as an hour.

Instacart delivery will be available at 93 Raley’s banners in Northern California and Nevada. Raley’s operates 129 stores under five banners: Raley’s, Bel Air Markets, Nob Hill Foods, Food Source, and Market 5-ONE-5.
