Among food products, 51 awards were given in 47 categories across such categories as food for the family, bakery and desserts, dairy, beverages, meal preparation, snacks and healthy eating. Within nonfoods, 22 products were recognized across 11 health and beauty care categories and 10 categories for home and household products.
Retailers, wholesalers, manufacturers, brokers and trade suppliers were asked to submit products into the Food & Drink Awards and Home & Health Awards, each of which is subdivided by product category. Entrants must have been introduced in the preceding 12 months. This year, more than 720 products were submitted and evaluated by a panel of professional and consumer judges. Awards were based on taste, performance, packaging, presentation and value for money.
