PLMA announces 2015 annual Roundtable Conference

The Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA), New York, announced that it will hold its annual Roundtable Conference Feb. 25-26 at Le Méridien Hotel in Nice, France. For more than 20 years, the event has brought manufacturers and retailers from around the world together to discuss store brands.

To speak at this year’s event, PLMA has invited executives from several major retailers in Western Europe: Stéphane Le Pottier, director of product development, private label and FMCG, Groupe Carrefour, Boulogne Billancourt, France; Kees Postma, global sourcing director, Metro Cash & Carry, Düsseldorf, Germany; and Domenico Brisigotti, director, private label development, Coop Italia Casalecchio di Reno, Italy. Additionally, Alison Rhodes, head of own brands at UK online supermarket Ocado, will offer a presentation about online shopping.

Also signed on to speak are retail analysts Filipe Oliveria of Euromonitor International and Niklas Reinecke and David Gray of Planet Retail, PLMA noted. The three analysts will provide briefings on trends in major markets.
