Oshēn Salmon, a direct-to-consumer salmon brand, is making its retail debut at select Mariano’s stores with three flavors of packaged salmon available at 20 locations across the Chicagoland area.

Shoppers at the Kroger-owned banner store can now find Sweet Chili, Lemon Pepper and Garlic Dill marinated salmon at the retailer, available in packs of two five-ounce portions. Launched in November 2020, Oshēn Salmon offers customers fresh and frozen Chilean salmon to consumers nationwide in eco-friendly packaging with a variety of portions ranging from two to five-pound boxes.

“Oshēn’s parent company BluGlacier has had a longstanding relationship selling our various salmon products at Kroger markets, including Roundy’s and Mariano’s over the years, and we are so excited that Mariano’s will be the first-ever grocery store to sell Oshēn,” says Sebastian Goycoolea, CEO of BluGlacier and Oshēn Salmon. “We teamed up with the flavor specialists to create new marinated flavors that we know customers will love,” he adds.

Mariano’s operates 44 locations in the Chicagoland area.
