Aldi is closing out February with the opening of two new stores.
Aldi is closing out February with two store openings as communities in Ohio and Missouri each will now have their first store from the discount grocer.
The company’s new location in Vandalia, Ohio, is located at 6415 Miller Lane, while the store in Maryland Heights, Mo., will call 12632 Dorsett Road home. Both stores celebrated their respective grand openings on Leap Day, February 29 and will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
To celebrate the opening of both stores, the first 100 customers at each location will receive a gift bag filled with a sampling of Aldi Fan Favorites products and a gift card as part of the Aldi Golden Ticket gift card giveaway program. Shoppers can also enter a sweepstakes during the grand opening weekend February 29 through March 3 for a chance to win a $500 Aldi gift card.
Sarah Brown, Springfield vice president for Aldi, who oversees the Vandalia store, and Rob Jeffries, O’Fallon vice president for Aldi, who has oversight of the Maryland Heights store, both said they are excited to open new stores in the respective communities.
