New Seasons Market recalls private brand almond butter

9/14/2016

New Seasons Market, a Portland, Ore.-based grocery chain, initiated a voluntary recall of its 16-ounce New Seasons Market Creamy Almond Butter because it may contain undeclared peanuts. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the product, the retailer said.

The recall affects customers who purchased the product with best by dates of 06/16/2017, 08/15/2017 and 08/30/2017 at New Seasons’ 19 locations in Oregon, Southern Washington and Northern California. New Seasons said there have been no reports of illness to date in relation to the product.
