Westrock Coffee Co., a major manufacturer of private label coffee and tea, has expanded its operations in the United States with the debut of a new manufacturing facility in Conway, Ark.

The new facility will help Westrock meet rising demand from existing and new global customers, including some of the largest retail and coffee brands in North America, the Little Rock, Ark.-based company said.

Located on William J. Clark Drive in Conway, the 525,000-square-foot facility will focus on manufacturing single-serve coffee items and potentially expanding into production of other formats in the future. Westrock will devote 130,000 square feet of the total space to manufacturing, with the remainder supporting fulfillment and distribution.

The new facility is key to Westrock’s plan to continue expanding production capabilities that deliver innovative, high-quality beverage solutions, according to the company. In 2024, it opened another large manufacturing facility in Conway, dedicated to producing ready-to-drink coffee products. With Westrock’s headquarters in Little Rock and the company’s original production facility operating in North Little Rock, the two additional facilities have turned Arkansas into a leading hub for coffee and beverage manufacturing in the United States, Westrock noted.

Global demand for single-serve coffee continues to rise, Westrock pointed out, with the coffee pod market valued at $35.3 billion in 2024 and projected to more than double to $71.2 billion by 2034, fueled by consumers seeking convenient, high-quality coffee that’s quick and easy to prepare. As the market evolves, brands pursuing private label manufacturing are not only expanding in scale, but also diversifying system partnerships beyond legacy platforms. As such, Westrock has designed the new Conway facility to meet an anticipated demand acceleration, with state-of-the-art technology able to produce millions of single-serve cups daily.

“The single-serve category is evolving rapidly, and we are scaling our operations to meet our customers’ needs,” said Westrock COO Will Ford. “This expansive new facility significantly enhances our capabilities in the U.S. market, and we are excited about the opportunities it will create for our existing and potential customers, employees and the local community here in central Arkansas.”
