Natural Grocers Expands Private Label Beverage Mix
The private label assortment at Natural Grocers continues to grow as the retailer has added Organic Kombucha and Organic Raw Tepache to its beverage mix.
These raw, probiotic-rich, fermented beverages are brewed with Certified Colorado Rocky Mountain Spring Water and flavored with organic fruit juices for a refreshing taste and ideal fizz, according to the company.
The Natural Grocers Brand Organic Raw Kombucha is fermented with tea sourced from the foothills of the Himalayas and combined with organic evaporated cane sugar and organic fruit. It's made with live probiotics, enzymes, and antioxidants and has a tasty traditional kombucha taste. In addition to the Organic Ginger, the grocer has added six new flavors to the line. They include:
- Organic Blueberry Ginger
- Organic Ginger
- Organic Pineapple Passion Fruit
- Organic Raspberry Hibiscus
- Organic Raspberry Lemon Ginger
- Organic Tangerine Blood Orange
The new Kombucha line is certified organic and non-GMO; flavored with organic juices; made without artificial flavors, preservatives, or synthetic colors; and comes in a 16-ounce glass bottle and is priced at $2.79.
Natural Grocers Brand Organic Raw Tepache is inspired by a traditional Mexican and South American beverage with roots in Aztec culture. Instead of customary fermented corn and sugar, this version is crafted with organic pineapple as the base for the mother culture, resulting in a fizzy, fruity, probiotic-rich drink. Varieties include Organic Citrus and Organic Mango Chili.
The new Tepache assortment is certified organic and non-GMO, flavored with organic juices, and made without artificial flavors, preservatives, or synthetic colors. A 16-ounce bottle is priced at $2.79.
