Natural Grocers celebrates "Organic Harvest Month" with deals

Natural Grocers is one of the nation’s longest-standing organic grocery chains, selling 100% certified organic produce, and hundreds of organic items across all departments. Marking September as “Organic Harvest Month,” Natural Grocers is renewing its fundraising partnership with Beyond Pesticides and offering perks for its customers like discounts, free nutrition education experiences and free reusable shopping bags for {N}power members, the store’s loyalty program.

Natural Grocers had a strong start in Q1 of  2021, citing 15.2% growth in sales and 23.5% bump in its private label products from the end of last year.

In 2020, Natural Grocers teamed up with Beyond Pesticides, a nonprofit advocacy and grassroots organization that aims to protect public health and the environment by leading the transition to a world free of toxic pesticides. The “Ladybug Love Your Neighborhoods” campaign raises awareness and directly contributes funds to reduce the use of synthetic pesticides and fertilizers, and promote organic practices in public spaces, making them safer for the community and pollinators.

Natural Grocers’ goal for September is to raise $100,000 for the Ladybug Love Your Neighborhoods campaign. Natural Grocers will donate $1.00 for every $1.99 limited-edition Organic Month reusable shopping bag sold. Customers can donate $1, $5, or $10 at the checkout at 161 stores in 20 states to fund the campaign locally.

To promote “Organic Month,” customers can save up to 45% on more than 20 products from September 16-18. {N}power members will receive special perks from September 16 – September 18, including $5.00 off a one-time purchase of $66.00 or more and a free Organic Harvest Month limited-edition reusable shopping bag with purchase.

In other celebratory moves, Natural Grocers will be giving away three $100 gift cards in an Instagram giveaway from September 1-4. Finally, the chain’s organic recipe library will include two new recipesL gluten-free garden veggie pasta and corn and green chili chowder.
