Natural products brand Naturade is expanding its Costco-exclusive Plant-Based Weight Loss High Protein Shake to several new markets.

The Los Angeles-based company’s protein supplement is found in vanilla creme flavor, and will now be available at Costco stores in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, San Diego and Utah. Debuting at Costco in 2020, Naturade is the first Black-owned company in the plant-based nutrition category to be sold at the club retailer.

“We’re excited for our products to continue to expand with Costco,” Naturade co-owner Kareem Cook said. “Our goal is to provide a plant-based product that not only helps people lose weight while combating diet-related illnesses, but also a product that truly tastes great. Our new formula has received tremendous feedback on its flavor and creaminess and we were able to maintain the same nutritional value. We’re thrilled to be able to reach more consumers and to help them accomplish their health-related goals.”

Naturade manufactures and distributes a variety of health-related products including vitamins, nutritional supplements and beauty care products.
