Milo’s Whole World Gourmet, a producer of both branded and private label food products, has announced a $1 million expansion to its facility in Nelsonville, OH.

The company says the investment will allow them to increase sales while upgrading equipment. The new facility will have upgraded machinery, multiple large kettles, along with other equipment and technology to enable food production. The facility also includes a connected Product Development/QC lab, where food technologists on staff perform the work necessary to get recipes ready for commercial production.

“We have been experiencing exponential growth,” said Jonathan Milo Leal, founder and owner of Milo’s WWG, which was founded in 2003. “This new facility will allow us to turbo-charge our growth, and take on larger customers that we haven’t had the capacity to handle to date.”

The facility will produce private label items along with products from Milo’s branded line, Brownwood Farms, including BBQ sauces, mustards, fruit salsas and spreads, pasta sauces, salad dressings and more.

As part of the expansion, Milo’s WWG received a $50,000 equipment grant from JobsOhio and will add new jobs at the plant. The new facility is expected to be open by spring 2022.
