Market 32, Price Chopper Recall Chicken Wraps
Market 32 and Price Chopper have issued a recall on pre-made chicken wraps sold in the retailers’ deli/food care section over concerns of a possible listeria contamination.
Manufactured by Rachael’s Food Corporation, products in the recall were sold under the Price Chopper brand and include Chicken Caesar (UPC code 4173500762), Buffalo Chicken (UPC code 4173500763), and Chicken Bacon Ranch (UPC code 4173505513).
According to Price Chopper, the affected wraps are beyond their sell-by dates and are no longer available for purchase. The recall is being issued out of an extreme abundance of caution to ensure any remaining product in customers’ homes is properly discarded or returned.
Many customers who purchased these items have been contacted through Market 32 and Price Chopper’s Broadnet recall notification program, which uses purchase data and consumer phone numbers on file in connection with the company’s AdvantEdge (loyalty) card to alert those households that may have purchased the products in question.
Customers who purchased and still possess the affected products should return them to their local Market 32 or Price Chopper store for a full refund. For more information, please call Rachael’s Food Corporation at 413-888-1202, or contact Market 32 and Price Chopper by phone at 800-666-7667 or via e-mail at [email protected].
