Private label beverage manufacturer Lassonde Pappas and Company, Inc. has named a new president of its private label division. Cade Culver will fill the position on May 2, and be responsible for leading all of Lassonde’s private label business activities in the U.S.
“Cade is a seasoned executive with an impressive career in the food industry,” said Vince Timpano, Lassonde’s president and chief operating officer. “His knowledge of our industry, his dynamism and his leadership qualities will be invaluable assets for Lassonde long-term growth in the US market. I am very happy to have him joining our management team.”
Culver has worked with Dole, serving as VP & general manager of Dole Diversified North America. More recently, he served as chief commercial officer of Hearthside Food Solutions. In his role, he led all commercial activities for the company including engineering, commercialization, research and development, innovation, sales and business development, demand planning and customer service. Culver is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point with a Bachelor of Science in Business Law and a minor in systems engineering.
For 2021, Lassonde’s sales totaled $1.89 billion, down 4.4% from $1.98 billion in 2020. The company is the largest producer of fruit juices and drinks in Canada and one of the two largest producers of store brand shelf-stable fruit juices and drinks in the United States.
Lassonde’s Josianne Legare, who serves as senior vice president of sales, was recognized by Store Brands as a 2022 Game Changer.
