Label Insight launches Capture product imaging service

Chicago-based Label Insight — a transparency and digital transformation solutions provider serving the grocery and consumer packaged goods industries — is now offering marketing, planogram and 360-degree product presentation images alongside the company’s comprehensive product attribute data set. With this new product imaging service called Capture, the company says it is delivering the industry’s first solution that connects product attribute data to a complete set of high-resolution digital images.

“Until now, linking data and images has been a daunting process due to the myriad image sources, data sources, distribution points and consumer touchpoints that create unnecessary complexity in the market,” said Paul Schaut, Label Insight’s CEO. “By introducing imaging services to our offering, brands and retailers can — for the first time — get required on-pack data, plus the industry’s best high-order attribute data and incredible high-quality digital imagery from a single source.”

Label Insight Capture produces GS1 defined planogram images, high-resolution marketing images, and spin set images to power 360-degree views. The entire image set is produced in one shoot, ensuring consistency and compatibility, according to the company.

Label Insight offers studio services in Chicago for customers that want to outsource product photography or supplement their in-house studio. For customers with more than 1,000 SKUs, Label Insight can remove logistical complications of shipping products off-site by bringing its studio to the customer’s location.
